Stainless Steels are a family of alloys containing 10 to 30 percent Chromium, with low carbon content and varying amounts of Nickel, Molybdenum, Titanium, Aluminium, Copper, Nitrogen etc, giving a very diverse range of strength and corrosion resistance capabilities.

Abbey Forged Products stock material from all sub-families of stainless steel including Austenitic, Martensitic, Ferritic, Precipitation hardening and Duplex, with all material being sourced from a strictly controlled network of mills and stockists. Chemical compositions are tightly controlled to optimise properties and increase consistency, with internal procedures controlling Forge and Heat Treatment parameters for all grades.
