With an extensive range of equipment on-site, Abbey Forged Products have a large range of open-die hammers and press, capable of manufacturing a full and very extensive range of sizes and material grades.
The API approved furnaces are able to facilitate both oil and water quenching up to a maximum load of 10 tonnes. The CNC and rough machining facilities offer both pre and post heat treatment operations.
Abbey Forged Products uses non-destructive testing – such as UT, DPI, MPI, PMI and Ferritscope.
The onsite testing facility Metal Testing UK is accredited to UKAS & ISO17025, which includes but is not limited to tensile, charpy, hardness and corrsosion testing.
With a wide range of band saws on site we are capable of cutting sections up to 800mm in all grades of metal, from carbon to nickel alloy.

One of the most crucial parts of the manufacturing process, we have a range of heat-treating furnaces on site, with water & oil quench functions.
We have a comprehensive in-house machine shop – comprising both conventional and advanced CNC machining capability.
Abbey Forged Products has its own in-house NDT department and offer fully certified products, supplying a variety of industry sectors. All NDT operations are controlled onsite by our in-house level 3 and inspections are undertaken in our purpose built facility.

Established in September 2007 when Abbey Forged Products moved in to our current purpose built site, our independent UKAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 approved test house boasts a wide range of accredited equipment.
