Kings Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2025

On the 14th January, we had the pleasure of hosting HM Lord-Lieutenant Dame Hilary Chapman DBE and Phil Barraclough at Abbey to celebrate with our teams the receipt of The King’s Award for Enterprise and to formally be presented with the award.

This is the most prestigious award for UK businesses, a huge honour and a brilliant milestone for our company, as well as a testament to the dedication, ambition, and hard work of all our teams. This recognition marks our second such achievement, following our previous Queen’s Award in 2014.

To receive this recognition from His Majesty The King is truly an honour and inspires us to continue to grow and represent British enterprise on the global stage. In addition to the company award, we are proud to celebrate our Managing Director, Jackie Neal, who has been appointed an MBE in the King’s 2026 New Year Honours List for services to women in the steel industry. A tremendous achievement which we are all so proud of.
